Evercel Files with the Securities and Exchange Commission for Common Stock Offering

Evercel Inc. (Danbury, CT) announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed offering of 1,250,000 shares of its common stock.

All of the shares are being offered by the company. Net proceeds from the offering, which Evercel expects to be approximately $25.0 million, will go toward equipping a US production facility with an automated line, providing funds for a second automated line, increasing the production capacity of its joint venture partner in the People's Republic of China, and for general corporate purposes.
