Enpirion Signs Three Distributors in Asia

August 15, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

Enpirion Inc. (Bloomsbury, NJ), a developer of power management solutions, has signed agreements with three distributors in Asia: Tokyo Electron Devices (TED, Japan), Marubeni Solutions (MSOL, Japan), and V-Serve (Singapore). In Japan, TED and MSOL are complementary to each other and provide Enpirion with comprehensive coverage in the region. Japan is a key market for Enpirion's tiny power supply products, aimed at high-volume mobile and consumer-based applications such as cellular handsets, PDAs, digital still cameras, camcorders, notebook computers, and applications where space is at a premium. Both distributors have strong sales teams, multiple sales offices across Japan, and have already started to generate significant opportunities and interest in Enpirion's technology with major manufacturers.

"With the addition of three new distributors to our team of partners in Taiwan, China, and Korea, we now have an extensive sales network in Asia, providing excellent field sales and applications support to help us significantly grow our business," commented Enpirion CEO Mark Downing. "We're confident that the uniqueness of our products, coupled with the expertise of these leading distributors, will make Enpirion a strong force in the Asian market."
