June 21, 2004 by Jeff Shepard

Express Manufacturing Inc. (Santa Ana, CA), an electronics manufacturing services provider, announced its participation in strategic programs aimed at promoting the growth of the electronics business with and in China. EMI was an educational partner in the Returning Overseas People Policy Seminar, jointly organized by the Asian Pacific Business Institute of California State University, Beijing (Wangjing) Center and KT International Company. The seminar was held at California State University, Los Angeles, and provided information for those who intend to establish enterprises in Beijing.

The Wangjing Center was founded by the Beijing government in 2002 with the goals of promoting enterprise while attracting investment and high-technology talent to the region. The Center works cooperatively with US institutions such as Cal State LA by regularly sending government officials and technology leaders overseas to establish mutually beneficial relationships with their American counterparts.
