January 30, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Dynetek Industries (Calgary, Alberta) announced that it supplies Nissan (Japan) with its advanced lightweight fuel storage system for the Nissan Xterra fuel cell vehicle. Nissan recently unveiled the Xterra FCV, equipped with Dynetek's compressed hydrogen fuel storage system, at both the 17th Electric Vehicle International Conference in Quebec and at the Grand Opening of the California Fuel Cell Partnership in West Sacramento, CA.

"Our relationship with Nissan is strong and continues to grow. We are not only involved with supplying Nissan with our compressed hydrogen fuel storage systems for their latest Xterra FCV but we provide fuel storage for their compressed natural gas vehicles, such as the Nissan AD Van," commented Rene Rutz, Dynetek's marketing and business development vice president.
