Delta Adds Eighth Brick To Delphi Series Of Board Mounted DC-DC Power Converters
Delta Electronics, Inc. introduced the latest addition to their Delphi series of board mounted dc-dc power converters – the E48SC eighth brick converter.
The E48SC, a 48V input, single output, isolated dc-dc converter, delivers up to 15A of output current or 60W in an industry standard footprint and pinout together with what is described as a very attractive price point. The company claims that the E48SC converter delivers not only outstanding electrical and thermal performance, but has industry leading efficiencies which translate into more board space at less cost. The E48SC 5V/12A is capable of providing full output power without airflow at up to 75°C.
Delta states that the E48SC converter comes complete with a host of industry-standard features to insure that this unit will reliably perform in the harshest environments, such as remote sense, remote on/off, output trim, and full protection with UVLO, OCP, OVP, OTP. These units also carry a full set of international safety approvals, including EN60950-1, UL/cUL60950-1 as well as CE markings, which meets 73/23/EEC and 93/68/EEC directives.
