Delta Adds 1 x 1, 12V/25W Power Converter To Series Of Board Mounted DC-DC Products
Delta Electronics, Inc. has introduced the S36SE12002, a 1 x 1" form factor, 12V/25W output power module into their Delphi series of board mounted dc-dc power converters. The S36SE12002 converter is a pin-to-pin replacement for the industry-standard 1x 2" products, but in a much smaller footprint (1.1 x 0.96 x 0.33").
The S36SE12002 converter operates from a wide input voltage range of 36 to 75V (2:1) and typical efficiency of the 12V module at full load (25W) is greater than 87%. The S36SE12002 may be trimmed up or down by up to 10% and offers the full 25W output at over 80°C ambient temperature with no airflow condition.
The Delphi S36SE converter comes complete with a host of industry-standard features to insure that this unit will reliably perform in the harshest environments and all modules are fully protected against abnormal input/output voltage, current, and temperature conditions. These units also carry a full set of international safety approvals and features 2250V input-to-output isolation.
Delta’s Delphi series S36SE12002 is available in both surface-mounted and through-hole packages. In OEM quantities of 1K pieces, the unit price is US$15.00. Standard lead-time is from stock to 8 weeks, depending on the output voltage and volume.
