October 07, 1999 by Jeff Shepard

BK Precision Corp. (Placentia, CA) released a new Model 1652 digital triple-output power supply to its product line. Utilizing a 115Vac outlet as the power source, the bench-top units provide variable voltage outputs of 0 to 24Vac, and up to 0.5A at continuous operation without thermal drifting. The new dc power supply is suitable for a variety of bench-top applications.

The Model 1652 triple-output power supply features a front-panel-mounted precision digital meter. Other front-panel indicators and controls include an off/on power switch, a power LED, an overload indicator light, a voltage adjustment knob, and built-in soldering iron temperature control. The unit measures 5.5” x 6.5” x 10.5” and weighs 12 pounds. It features output isolation leakage of less than 0.1mA.

“The addition of this high-reliability, rugged triple-output power supply to our product line offers an increased selection of versatile, cost-effective, low-power, state-of-the-art dc power supplies,” commented Victor Tolan, president of BK Precision. “The Model 1652’s excellent performance, small footprint, compact profile and price performance makes it an ideal choice for use in service, research and engineering, test, and manufacturing bench applications.”

Available for immediate delivery, the Model 1652 is priced at $450.
