B&K Precision Introduces the Battery Capacity Analyzer Model 600

July 15, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

B&K Precision Corp. (Placentia, CA) announced the addition of the light-weight, hand-held Battery Capacity Analyzer Model 600 to its product line. The Model 600 can be used to determine the percentage capacity of 12V lead-acid batteries, which may be defective or may have deteriorated.

The Model 600 requires no external power test since it is powered by the battery under test. The analyzer supports 12V storage-type lead-acid batteries with a wide range of AH capacity. It measures both no-load voltage and battery capacity.

"The current national and California power crisis has brought about the need for fast, accurate means of identifying the condition of 12V lead-acid batteries," said Victor Tolan, president of B&K Precision. "Our new Model 600 is capable of performing a complete battery analysis in six seconds."

The Model 600 Battery Capacity Analyzer is priced at $299 each and is available for immediate delivery.
