Belkin Intros Regulator PRO UPS

Belkin Components (Compton, CA) has announced their next generation of UPS products. Called the Regulator PRO, the new line features four models, rated 325VA, 425VA, 525VA and 625VA, with backup running times ranging from 17 to 41 minutes. The new units feature Belkin's new UPS Line-Interactive technology featuring Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR). According to Belkin, AVR employs a highly sensitive microprocessor that communicates to the tapped transformer to react when voltage deviates from a certain preferred band level. It then automatically adjusts voltage up or down or activates the backup battery power. Internet line and 10Base-T protection is also provided. All Regulator PRO units carry a UPS Data Recovery Warranty. Should a computer's hard drive ever malfunction because of UPS failure to properly back up a PC while properly connected to the UPS, Belkin will provide professional data-recovery services from Data Recovery Labs to salvage damaged or lost data. Belkin also offers its EcoBattery Service Program. The program provides a battery replacement and a full service check on the UPS unit to ensure that it is working properly and that worn batteries are discarded correctly in an environmentally responsible manner. The entire Regulator PRO line is available for less than $199.
