Bekaert ECD Solar Systems Expands Marketing Team and Builds New Manufacturing Facility

Bekaert ECD Solar Systems LLC (Troy, MI) announced today that Carsten

Bethge, formerly the senior director of worldwide sales for Siemens Solar Industries, has joined the company as vice president of sales and marketing. Bethge has extensive industry experience in senior sales and marketing positions, and will lead the sales and marketing department from the corporate headquarters.

Other company news includes the fact that two new regional offices have been established in North America under the direction of Qudrat Delawari, vice president of North American sales. Delawari will be based in San Diego, CA.

This expansion of the Bekaert ECD sales and marketing department coincides with the recent announcement of the 25MW annual capacity manufacturing facility to be located in Auburn Hills, MI.
