Baldor Introduces the WBSM Series of Servo-Motors

Baldor (UK) has introduced a new range of servo-motors designed to withstand high-pressure cleaning. Baldor claims that the WBSM Series, introduced at PPMA 2001, delivers higher speeds, accelerations and positioning accuracies. Application areas for the series include bio-pharmaceutical, food packaging and processing lines.
Among the protection features incorporated into the WBSM Series are white epoxy coating, stainless steel hardware and shaft extension, and premium moisture-resistant wire, which is potted for additional protection. The series also features a weld-sealed stator stack, special shaft seals, O-rings and double-sealed bearings.
