Asahi Kasei Microdevices Launches AKM Simulator for Power Management Devices

Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation announces the immediate global availability of AKM Simulator, a new online design tool that is engineered to provide advanced application and technical support of the Power Management product family. This cloud-based design support tool enables engineers to evaluate power management products within minutes, with patented WebSIM® simulation technology. AKM Simulator enables design engineers to go beyond basic performance evaluation to automatically generate customized design schematics with external components that can be instantly verified with simulation.

With AKM Simulator, design engineers can shorten their design cycles, with automated creation of design reports and complete Bill of Materials (BOM) reports with cost-estimation for mass production. The simulator is available for power management IC and LED driver IC products with plans for new products to be added frequently. AKM Simulator has been developed in partnership with Transim Technology.
