Artesyn Intros SSL40 Power Supply Series

Artesyn Technologies Inc. (Eden Prairie, MN) introduced the SSL40 Series of slim, low-profile external power supplies, intended for desktop and mobile applications, such as network adapters, xDSL modems, cable modems, flat panel displays and external storage devices. The 40W universal input ac/dc Class II power supplies are housed in a 4.21 x 1.77 x 0.98 plastic enclosure.

The SSL40 is available in six single-output models from 12V to 48V. All six models provide total line and load regulation to within +/-0.2 percent and offer 83 percent efficiency. Over-voltage and short-circuit protection are standard features on all models.

The SSL40 is priced at $41 each in quantities of 100 pieces.
