APC Enters Co-Marketing Agreement with Energy.On.com

American Power Conversion (APC, West Kingston, RI) and EnergyOn.com recently announced that the two companies will enter into a co-marketing agreement whereby energyOn.com will promote and sell select APC power protection solutions on its site. EnergyOn.com is an independent information and access resource for consumers to shop the energy providers in their service area for the best available rate and service. They are also offering APC's "best-of-breed" power protection solutions to help enhance the reliability of consumer utility power. "This exclusive co-marketing agreement enables us to provide our customers with a 'one-stop' shop where they simultaneously can search for lower electricity and natural gas rates and targeted products that can protect their investment in sensitive electronics, such as computers, from uncontrollable power disturbances," stated Ken Soule, energyOn.com's executive vice president of partnership development.EnergyOn.com will sell select APC surge protectors and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), which they claim will help enhance power quality. Both companies will also participate in a joint marketing campaign that will include Web, radio and print advertising programs. This campaign is designed to increase the awareness and usage of solutions available to enhance power availability.
