Anderson Power Intros SBS50 Finger-Proof Connector

Anderson Power Products (APP, Sterling, MA), a leader in developing power interconnect solutions for backup power systems, electric vehicles, UPS systems, telecommunications, and high-technology device industries, announced its new SBS-50 finger-proof connectors, which offer a finger-proof design that minimizes contact with live contacts, per UL 1977 and UL 60950 regulations, for systems operating over 50 V.

The SBS50's slim design allows the operator greater ease when connecting and disconnecting. Along with APP's flat wipe contact technology, the SBS50 makes hot-plugging and unplugging easy and safe while using minimal real estate. The housings are also keyed to prevent accidental mating of components operating at different voltage levels. Molded side grooves allow secure panel mounting for panel thickness of 0.048 in to 0.062 in.

The new SBS50 connectors are now available through APP's authorized distributor network or direct from the factory.
