Alliance Semiconductor Introduces ASM6300 Series

May 24, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

Alliance Semiconductor Corp. (Santa Clara, CA) announced its ASM6300 CPU supervisory product family in SC70 packaging, which is available in a wide range of reset voltage and reset timing combinations that spawn 10 distinct products with 217 voltages and reset timing combinations per product. The products are low-power and cost effective CPU supervisory solutions addressing a wide range of applications in wire-line and wireless telecom, computer, consumer, industrial and medical markets.

The CPU supervisors are claimed to operate on power levels that are 20% to 40% less than other typical supervisory products. The threshold voltage range for the ASM6300 product family is from 1.6 V to 4.6 V in 31 steps. The reset active period range is from 2 msec to 2,400 msec in seven steps.

Production quantities are available now in all package options (3L SOT23, 3L SC70 and 4L SC70), and in both commercial and industrial temperature ranges. Pricing for the ASM6300 Series starts at $0.45 per unit in large quantities.
