Microsemi Corporation today announced its leading-edge PDS-102GO outdoor Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch. The PDS-102GO enables connection of two powered devices to the network via Gigabit uplink, up to 30W each, is IP66 rated and can be installed in outdoor environments. In addition, it enables remote monitoring and control of the devices' status, including remote reset. With the 102GO, an outdoor network can be installed in minutes with minimal installation costs," said Sani Ronen, director of product marketing, PoE Systems at Microsemi. "This new product adds to our leadership position in this market and is the optimal solution for outdoor applications, where ease-of‐use, guaranteed interoperability and low cost are essential."
