AEC-Q200 Molded Inductors for Automotive Power Converters

Pulse Electronics Power BU announced the release of the PA434X.XXXANLT series of automotive-grade molded inductors and the extension of industrial-grade molded inductors by adding the PA4346 and PA4349 series to the company's existing line of industrial grade inductors.

Pulse Electronics Power BU offers multiple cross-references to competitor parts. Production lead time is 8-10 weeks, and samples are available upon request. Pulse Electronics Power BU is not capacity limited and these inductors are not currently on allocation.

"With the addition of our new high-temp automotive-grade molded inductors, Pulse adds yet another dimension to our capabilities to support the expanding array of product application needs," stated Geoffrey Wildman, Global Marketing Manager of Pulse Electronics Power Business Unit.

The new automotive-grade molded inductor series is designed to handle high transient current spikes without saturation, with no thermal aging, and offer more comprehensive operating temperature ranges suited for automotive and industrial applications.

The PA434X.XXXANLT series of high-current SMT molded power inductors are RoHS compliant, and AEC-Q200 qualified. They are built with shielded construction to reduce flux leakage for better EMI with a corrosion resistant surface and are sealed for low audible noise. These low-profile inductors have extended operating temperature range from -55 to +155 degrees C.

The PA434X.XXXANLT series is ideally suited for a wide range of applications such as battery management systems, dc-dc converters, onboard chargers, and a variety of motor control and filtering applications. Automotive and commercial grade molded inductor designer kits are also available.
