9.6Vdc to 72Vdc Input 60W 1/16th Brick Isolated Power Module
FDK Corp. has expanded their power conversion portfolio with the introduction of Ultra-Wide Input 1/16th Brick isolated power module. The module operates ultra-wide input voltage range from 9.6Vdc to 72Vdc that covers 12Vin, 24Vin and 48Vin and provides a typical 12Vdc, 5A output voltage.
The module is offered in industry standard 1/16th Brick size, 1.3" x 0.9" (33.02 x 22.86mm) in SMT package and very low profile, 0.283" (7.2mm) Max. This is targeted toward industrial PC, industrial applications and battery operating machines where board space, cost, efficiency, and reliable operation in elevated temperature environments are critical.
Also, it employs output over-current/over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, remote ON/OFF, output voltage margining, and 4kVdc input-output isolation.
"The module gives customers the ability of space saving by replacing from discrete dc-dc design," said Mr. Hitoshi Matsushima, Group President of Electronic Devices Business Group, FDK Corp. "FDK will continue to add the high power density products to its isolated power module product line."
The module is RoHS II compliant. It is designed by using FDK's CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) technologies and manufactured by using state-of-the-arts in house manufacturing processes and systems.
