Mean Well has released new four series of 3W dc-dc converters, the SLC03/DLC03 in a DIP16 configuration as well as upgraded models, the SCWN03/DCWN03 in a DIP24 package format. These four series are designed to comply with standard pin assignment in the market, in both mechanism design and in package style.
The DIP16 packaged SLC03/DLC03 both feature an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees C derating above 71 degrees C) and 1.5kVdc isolation. The DIP24 packaged SCWN03/DCWN03 both feature an operating temperature range of -40 to +90 degrees C with derating above 85 degrees C and they have 3kVdc isolation.
Input voltage ranges available for the SLC03/DLC03 include 9- to 18-Vdc, 18- to 36-Vdc and 36- to 75Vdc. Input voltage ranges available for the SCWN03/DCWN03 include 4.5- to 9-Vdc, 9- to 18-Vdc, 18- to 36-Vdc and 36- to 75Vdc.
Output voltages for the SLC03 include 5-, 12- and 15-Vdc while the DLS03 is available with outputs of ±5-, ±12- and ±15-Vdc. The SCWN03 is offered with output voltages of 3.3-, 5-, 12- and 15-Vdc and the DCWN03 is offered with output voltages of ±5-, ±12- and ±15-Vdc.
All models come with short-circuit protection, overload protection and input undervoltage protection. They are CE certified and have a 3-year warranty. The DIP16 units measure 21.1 x 13.7 x 8.5mm while the DIP24 units measure 31.8 x 20.3 x 10.2mm.
