3-Watt Current-Sensing Metal Plate Chip Resistor

June 17, 2014 by Jeff Shepard

KOA Speer Electronics introduces its new TLR, 3W current-sensing metal plate chip resistor in a 2512 package. The TLR3AP provides an ultra-low resistance of 0.5- to 10-mOhm. KOA Speer's TLR3AP resistor features a T.C.R. of ±50 and ±75 and a 1% tolerance rating. The resistor’s metal alloy substrate provides superior corrosion and heat resistance. These features combined with its ultra-low height and thickness of 0.6mm make it suitable for use in small equipment. It has a wide temperature range from as low as -65 up to +155 degrees C.

KOA’s TLR3AP resistor is AEC-Q200 qualified making it well-suited for the transportation industry, as well telecommunications, consumer electronics and industrial markets, in current sensing applications such as dc-dc conversion, inverter power supplies, CPU current sensing and motor controls. Lead time is 12 weeks.
