10W Adapter features Micro USB Output for Tablet Charging
Phihong USA has modified one of its top selling products, the 10W ultra-thin PSA10F Series adapter, to include a dc cord terminated by a Micro-B USB connector. Designated the PSA10F-050, the power adapter has an output of 5V and 2A, which is targeted for charging lithium-ion batteries in personal devices that feature large touch screens. The PSA10F meets requirements for Level V efficiency marketing, and bears safety approval markings from UL, CE, BSMI, PSE, SAA, C-Tick, GOST and TUV SEGURANÇA.
Though designed as a fixed wall plug for North America, the F-Series adapter is available with optional field-interchangeable ac clips that enable worldwide operation for ac mains outlets in Brazil, China, Continental Europe, Korea, India, United Kingdom, Argentina and Australia/New Zealand. Additional standard features including over-current protection, over-voltage protection and short-circuit protection.
The adapter is equipped with a no-load power draw of <0.015W, giving it a 5-Star standby power rating. Each unit measures 60mm by 47mm by 15mm, weighs 67g. Interchangeable ac clips are sold separately. Pricing for the PSA10F-050 starts at $8.11 each in 1000 piece quantities.
